Storyboarding Tasks

Everyone needs to complete their storyboards by Thurs. The stroyboards should include:

-Camera position and the established shot
-Possibly more than 1 key pose per shot, if necessary
-Lines of action for the characters
-Remember the rule of thirds while composing the shot
-Keep in mind the character's proximity to other objects (and shapes of objects)
-Lines to direct attention to the focus of the shot

Don't:

-Have the character looking at the camera
-Break the fourth wall (imaginary wall between the scene and the audience

Once you have your storyboard, make a materials list for each shot.

  1. Reflect on the camera shots.
Did you play with the Channel box and the Attribute Editor (left of 3 icons)?
Framing is important, but it doesn't tell the story.

Storyboard, thinking about these elements - to be brought in on Thursday
    Framing
Angles - of camera, and of the items
    Proximity/interaction of items

*Be a set designer, not world designer (only what is seen is needed)
